Hello! Baron Wolman here.
I was privileged to have an all-access photo pass to the original Woodstock Music and Art Festival which was held, not in its namesake, Woodstock, New York but rather 58 miles to the southeast in Bethel, New York, on Max Yasgur’s farm.
The lineup of performers was legendary, everyone from the Jefferson Airplane to Santana to CSNY to Sly Stone to The Who to Janis Joplin to Jimi Hendrix and many, many more. It was indeed three days of Peace, Love & Music! The crowd, too, was legendary, greatly exceeding 300,000 gentle souls.
This is an ever-growing curated collection of photo-memories of the original Woodstock festival, pictures taken by both professional and amateur photographers alike. Our idea is to make this site a one-stop-shopping place for media (print, online, video etc.) to license Woodstock 1969 images well in advance of the 50th anniversary celebration in August 2019.
If you’re interested in licensing one
or more images, contact me or
my assistant Dianne by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
or by phone at 505-920-0564.
And if you are a photographer with Woodstock 69 photos you would like to list on our site, email me for details.
